Inventory Points

In Game Mechanics

Inventory

A human's inventory points (IP), determine the total amount of items that can be carried at one time. Inventory space is important for citizens because it can sometimes be necessary to carry multiple weapons, gadgets, or cumbersome items like radios, generators, or computers. By default, all citizens start with 15 IP, but can obtain up to three different inventory expanding items which include: Backpack 25 IP Red wagon 50 IP Wheelbarrow 50 IP Obtaining all three items grants a maximum inventory space of 140 IP. Only one of each item can be carried at any time.

Becoming overloaded

Players can become overloaded if they are carrying more items than their inventory allows. This can only happen by picking up an item which is bigger than the inventory points you have left to use. When a player becomes overloaded, walking costs 2 energy points, and climbing is impossible. Entering/exiting a building (using the front door) and climbing up and down stairs remains unaffected by encumbered, and keeps its 1EP movement cost.
