An Outcast is a player that has attacked another player on the same side as them - zombie or human. Outcast flagged players can be identified by their red colored name. Attacking a non-flagged player for 10 damage or more will trigger your Outcast flag. Unless you kill another player, your Outcast flag will stay on for 6 hours + 1 hour for every 2 points of damage you did. If you kill a non-flagged player your "Outcast flag" will remain up for 24 hours + 1 hour for every 2 points of damage you did. Any additional damage you do to non-flagged players will add to the time until your Outcast flag turns off by 1 hour for every 2 points of damage you do. "Outcast flagged" players can be attacked by anyone without consequence. Abilities used while you are an Outcast(healing or dealing damage) will yield no SP/XP. All damage dealt while Outcast flagged goes towards your 'Outcast damage' total. This total is increased when you deal damage to non-PK flagged players on your side. The lower the health of the victim the more damage added to your Outcast damage total. Life as an Outcast in Quarantine is harsh. All damage dealt to you is increased by 1.5x and upon death all your items are dropped on the ground. Unlike being a PKer, any player may attack an Outcast and will not become a PKer.
